Rhonda has over 20 years supporting families and individuals with disabilities in her community. She started her career as a service facilitator serving families in Prince William County through the Infant and Toddler Connect/Early Intervention program. She has supported families as a service coordinator through the Medicaid Waivers program. Rhonda has supported Prince William County Schools as the Parent Resource Center Coordinator and currently is a middle school transition specialist.
She holds a B.S. in Rehabilitation Services and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education. She also holds a Certificate of Completion in Special Education Advocacy.
Rhonda supports her community through her experiences of being a military family, advocating for special needs through the Arc, coaching for Special Olympics and has served on the Prince William County Special Education Advisory Committee. Her greatest experience of all is being a parent to her son, James. Rhonda and James share their journey with families and individuals with disabilities to help with transitioning into adulthood.
