Bullying in Virginia’s K-12 Schools: Law and Policy Parents Need to Know

PEATC, in collaboration with the Legal Aid Justice Center, will present a two-session webinar series on bullying.

Bullying in Virginia’s K-12 public schools is a widespread problem impacting some of our most vulnerable students, particularly students with disabilities. This webinar series is designed to educate parents and professionals about the responsibility of school officials to respond to reports of bullying or harassment in the educational setting. We will also explore ways to empower parents and families to collaborate with schools to address and prevent bullying. These webinars will offer practical tips, tools, and strategies based on ‘real world’ scenarios designed to give parents and professionals the skills they need to protect their kids at school.
