Special Education Workshop Series – Spring 2025
PEATC presents this virtual workshop series for parents and professionals who want to learn more about special education in Virginia.
Choose one, multiple, or all of these informative workshops to attend!
- April 9 – From Referral to Eligibility
- April 23 – Anatomy of an IEP
- May 7 – Measurable IEP Goals: This workshop brings families and educators together using a common language to build measurable goals for all students to ensure that families and schools know where the student is beginning and the progress that is being made over time. Participants will learn what a measurable goal is, how to write a measurable goal and much more in this workshop.
- May 21 – Ins and Outs of IEP Meetings
- June 4 – Dispute Resolution Options
Each workshop will start at 6:30 p.m. EST and will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. These sessions will not be recorded.
