Keys to Special Education

If you have a student receiving special education and related services in Virginia, you have a front-row seat to this complex process. This presentation will unlock the complicated special education process by providing attendees with the keys to navigating it effectively. Attendees will also learn the different parts of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and how they work together to create a plan that allows their student to access their education. Military families will gain information about how to advocate for their students with disabilities while serving our country and be able to ask questions about the process, the document, and being attached to the armed forces.
