Listos o no, nuestros niños están creciendo y desarrollándose. Cada niño se desarrolla a su propio ritmo y los hitos nos dan una idea general de cuándo esperar que se desarrollen ciertas habilidades. ¡Actuar temprano puede marcar la diferencia! En este taller, repasaremos los conceptos básicos. Hablaremos sobre qué son los hitos, definiremos los dominios (categorías de desarrollo), brindaremos recursos para apoyar el desarrollo de un niño y compartiremos consejos sobre qué hacer si hay inquietudes.

Ready or not, our kids are growing and developing. Every child develops at their own pace and milestones give us a general idea of when to expect certain skills to develop. Acting early can make a difference! In this workshop, we’re going over the basics. We’ll talk about what are milestones, define the domains (categories of development), provide resources for supporting a child’s development, and share tips on what to do if there are concerns.

This is an in-person event and will be presented in Spanish.
