If you live in Virginia, have a child currently enrolled in Virginia’s public school system with an active IEP, and have been involved in the special education process for at least 3 years -OR- if you’re a graduate of PEATC’s Parent Institute, you’re eligible to apply for our Parents as Collaborative Leaders (PACL) training!
PACL offers a deeper dive into the IEP process and helps you strengthen your leadership skills as a partner in your child’s education. This interactive training covers key topics such as building strong IEPs, understanding related services and least restrictive environment (LRE), transition planning, and exploring dispute resolution options as you build your collaborative leadership skills.
