WAZE to Adulthood 2022 – En Español

Transition from high school to adulthood for a student with a disability takes planning that involves many steps and many paths. It’s a complex but rewarding journey as you hear about your child’s goals and help them achieve their dreams. In our 2021 training module, we talked about “Keeping the End in Mind” when determining where your child wants to be after high school and outlining the steps needed to get there. This year, our training module will also include Path to Success: Transition Planning and the IEP. This FREE and SELF-PACED training provides information on transition planning and the importance of the Transition IEP in helping students be successful in their education, future employment, and independent living.

La transición de la escuela secundaria a la edad adulta para un estudiante con una discapacidad requiere una planificación que implica muchos pasos y muchos caminos. Es un viaje complejo pero gratificante a medida que escucha sobre las metas de su hijo y lo ayuda a alcanzar sus sueños.

En nuestro módulo de capacitación 2021, hablamos sobre tener “Una Meta Final en Mente” al determinar dónde quiere estar su hijo después de la escuela secundaria y delinear los pasos necesarios para llegar allí. Este año, nuestro módulo de capacitación también incluirá Camino al Éxito: Planificación de Transición y el IEP.

Esta capacitación completamente en español, GRATUITA Y A SU PROPIO RITMO proporciona información sobre la planificación de transición y la importancia del IEP de transición para ayudar a los estudiantes a tener éxito en su educación, futuro empleo y vida independiente.

Este entrenamiento durará aproximadamente 4 horas en completarse. Se puede acceder a la capacitación en cualquier momento durante el período de 4 semanas y se entregará un certificado a los participantes al finalizar.
