Martha Caraballo is a Career Assessment Counselor for the Division of Rehabilitation under the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services from Lynchburg, VA. Martha has a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Also, she is certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselors. She began her career almost 13 years ago and has extensive experience as a Rehabilitation Counselor. She has assisted students and adults with disabilities to prepare, gain and retain employment. Currently, as an evaluator, Martha offers a comprehensive process of vocational exploration and assessment to assist individuals in identifying their vocational strengths, needs and goals and provide recommendations to guide individuals towards a competitive employment outcome. In addition, she leads a special project under the agency’s Pathways to Careers program in order to offer quality services to clients from diverse cultures and speakers of English from other languages. Martha enjoys assessing, guiding, training, and advocating for individuals with disabilities and families to help improve their quality of life and independence.
