Michele resides in Nottoway County, Virginia. She has four children, two sons and two daughters, and has a grandson. Her advocacy role began around 2012 with her need to obtain knowledge and information on special education to help her eldest son, who was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. She discovered that she enjoyed educating others on the information she learned regarding Special Education. Michele has been volunteering and advocating for families for over eight years. She currently serves as a regional parent representative on the Virginia State Special Education Advisory Committee. During her free time, she enjoys watching her daughter play softball and going fishing with her sons.
